Water Storage Tower by Corsini, Zaragoza y Rodriguez

An artistic intervention may seem in any case to a fully functional installation or if you want industrial or such as an industrial plant resemble an artistic intervention into the landscape.

Similar to what we saw in the post of Land of Giants, engineering works take a double meaning to become much more representative than an object of use.

Two water tanks, each with a 40m³ capacity, sit atop a two-legged steel structure to form the 22-metre water storage tower, which supplies an entire town without the need for pumps.

“The amphora is a ceramic container of great size with two handles, narrowing to a point at one end. An object much used by the Greeks and Romans for keeping solid and liquid foodstuffs, it was decorated with black figures.

Dos tanques de agua, cada una con una capacidad de 40m ³, sentarse encima de una estructura de acero de dos patas para formar la torre de agua de 22 metros de almacenamiento, que abastece a toda la ciudad sin necesidad de bombas.

Una intervención artística puede parecerse en cualquier caso a una instalación perfectamente funcional o si se quiere industrial o como es el caso una instalación industrial asemejarse a una intervención artística dentro del paisaje.Igual a lo que vimos en el post de Land of Giants, las obras de ingeniería toman un doble significado para tornarse mucho mas representativas que un objeto de uso.
